The seats in the 08 GM I talked about were in an Escalade EXT so maybe they weren't typical, but they had lumbar and side bolsters that were very adjustable.

I don't find the lumbar in the Ford as adjustable and no side bolsters.

And so much more room. Both were crew cabs but this one makes my old GMC feel like an extended cab.

Step up to a mega cab dodge and everything else seems cramped.

interesting...I have an '05 chevy and consider the seats to be some of the most comfortable that I have ever had...I'll have to check out the ford sometime...

I'm actually trading in my 11 z71 this weekend . Just feels dated ; and the leather seats are trash . The 13-14' rams are supposedly awesome , and new gmc is great just very pricey . Trying to stay away from ford.. Nothing but problems with my last f150

My 08 z71 turned over 200k miles last week. Half of them farm/off road miles.

Never had a problem out of it, other than typical wear and tear that any truck gets. Runs like it was new. Going to probably drive it till June then look into a new truck.

The biggest difference I noticed when I switched to a Ford was the ride. I feel like I'm riding on a cloud. Smoothest riding truck I've ridden/drove. If you have a crew cab, the back seat space blows GM out the water.

I bought it Tuesday before I came to work. Drove from home to south Texas, avg. 15.8mpg. Ride is smooth as a half ton and its the quietest diesel I've ever heard.

I recently got into a 2013 XLT F150 after several ropes were pissed up for my business. I'm not completely satisfied with my purchase, but have zero complaints about the truck. Ford is head and shoulders above the competition these days, IMO.

The only reason I'm not completely satisfied is that I bought the truck on an impulse on a rainy day. I was 100% committed to buying a black truck. Turns out a few days later after the sun comes up, my new purchase is a Kodiak brown color. It glitters in the direct sunlight and displays "Look at me. I'm Tyrone Biggums" on a clear and sunny day. At night it looks like the inside of a cow. Clear days..... Not so much.

It simply isn't black. I wasn't mentally prepared for the one color I searched near and far for to turn out to be something else three days later. I've gotten several compliments on it, but I just chuckle to myself when they do. It's the damnest thing.

That's what mine is but it's dirty as the frick all the time. I will never wash it so there's that going against it.

Once again, have any of yal looked at the 14 GMCs in person? All new interior and increased the cab size so they are damn near if not the same as the Fords. Also reworked the motors.

GMC Z71 High Country FTW, will have one this time next year.

Just bought a new Ford 2013 XLT supercrew.

They were really coming off the sticker prices like mentioned in another thread.

Yes I looked at the new 2014 GMC and Chevrolets. The new look for them would have to grow on me and they couldn't come close to the prices I was getting on the 2013 Fords.
