thats what we put in the one above.
Its a vintage air. pricey but they use great compressors.
We've had problems w some of the others.
research compressor brand which ever kit you use.
a good aftermarket one performs much better than
factory

My stepdad has that kit in his Vette. It came with AC, but worked like crap, so they just put the vintage air kit in it and it works perfectly

We keep the thermostat on 63 in the house.
Goodness gracious, man. My wife/in-laws think I'm extreme because I set the thermostat to 70-72. It's always 78-82 in their house... Yes, I hate sleeping there.

I love old cars, but the 60s cars were shite for safety.
Body on frame, shims everywhere, piss poor metal, non-existent testing.
Stuff coming loose in a crash was real common.
Take her to Bondurant, put her in something modern and rest a bit easier.

The lack of an airbag or modern safety features adds character to a younger driver and bis passengers
My friends and I would not be the stand up individuals we without the scares/thrills,that went among with my '71 duster and '68 charger
I still get the most random/awesome comments about the good times some fifteen odd years ago

I understand and I have the scars to prove it.
Daughters and sons though, are a gift from God. They are to be protected as best we can.
A young driver needs all the protection we can give them.

If we end up with one, it'll be ours to drive together. Not her alone. They're both getting Volvos or some shite. Or maybe unimogs.
