Alright guys, pack it in. We're done here.

Like I said in my earlier post on the matter (after I helped you find the P320 in .45), if you wanted the .40, fine. But dont bullshite us and say you could tell the difference and then crawfish about grip size.

I was right about the carnival comment. You're a clown bro.

different frame sizes that are the exact same for 9/40. P320 full size 9 frame is the same as the P320 full size 40 frame. P320C 9 frame is the exact same as the P320C 40 frame.

that's fine that you prefer 40, but don't pretend like your preference is due to a dimensional difference between the 9/40 frames, because there isn't one.

sir

the .40 S/W was based on a reduced powder 10mm load. smith discovered that with the reduced powder, they could shorten the 10mm case so that it would fit in existing 9mm pistol frames, thus the .40 S/W was born.

in other words, the .40 cartridge was sized to be able to fire from a 9mm handgun, with minor changes to the slide, and obviously a larger bore barrel

i shoot .40 myself, as i've stated previously, and obviously the debate between 9/40 can get testy. but for you to act like a child because nobody believes you could tell the difference between a 9mm pistol and a .40 pistol in your hand is ridiculous...you cant tell the difference because there isnt one

It's the surest sign that a person has lost the argument when they resort to name calling, also referred to as the logical fallacy of "ad hominem."

It's the exact same thing the media does with certain candidates (especially Trump) - make fun of superficial crap like his hair rather than attempt to argue against his logically-consistent points. It appeals better to low IQ people.

I resulted to name calling after I was told I spent my time "at carnivals guessing weight" again there is no argument here. I started a thread about the debate between these two calibers. I own neither of them. I don't have a preference. I held a 40 cal p320 with the largest grip and a 9mm with the medium sized grip. I'm not sure what you think I'm trying to argue, but clearly you are missing the point of the thread and why I started it

Maybe this got lost in the mess of things.

People took you as saying "the 40 caliber version of most handguns feel different than the 9mm version just by holding them" which is patently false. They are built on the exact same frame the vast majority of the time.

What you were really saying was that you held a P320 with a full sized frame in 40 and could tell the difference between it and a P320 with a medium sized grip, correct? This has more to do with the fact that the frame is a different size than that the chambering is different. If you took both of them and had them both put on the same sized frames, they would look and feel virtually identical.

This is what I meant. But I was basically called a carny. I apologize for not being a bit more specific. Yes. Now what I did not know, until you bapple just stated, was that handy bit of info saying that the 9 and 40 would fit the same in my hand with the same grip. I was under the assumption (obviously false) that the 40 grip was bigger than the 9mm. After a bit of research, I did happen to see that the p320 does come in a few different grips. Did not know that the frames of the 9mm and the 40 sw were the Same size

This is where I left my purse

I shoot 9 and 10mm pistols. Would probably own a S&W hand cannon in 357, but I know of a lot better things I can spend that G on. Tbh, 10mm is my favorite pistol cartridge, but shits expensive. I carry 9mm

A better debate (and one that I'd like to hear) is 115 vs 124 vs 147gr 9mm

Look back at page one. You were looking for a .45 and I replied to help you out.

Then I called BS about you being able to tell the difference. Then you called me out to meet you/fight/frick or whatever at Cabelas.

quote:

I mean if you'd like to meet me at cabelas I'll gladly show you. Just let me know when

Then I made the smart aleck remark about the carnival. It was a joke Francis. Then you made some comment disparaging oil field workers, truck nuts, and my family.

quote:

I guess you're just a bit upset with the oil field, not gonna be able to get those truck nuts for your degenerate family

I for one am not an oil field worker nor have truck nuts. This is the OB, insulting oil field workers (or truck nuts for that matter ) is not a good look.

quote:

There's one problem with your statement. The p320 has different grip sizes. Now I can get the same grip in any caliber, but I prefer 40. Get over yourself

Then you start changing your story to fit your argument. Good luck. I'm done here.

I want a S&W 9 mm shield, but can't find one to buy. Finding 40's everywhere I look. Found a 40 today at a pawn shop for $335.

1) you did help me out with the 45 questions props
2) I told you to meet me at cabelas to see for yourself not "fight or frick"
3) the truck nuts was a joke right back at you, francis
4) not a good look? This is a message board
5) if you would have acted the way you did whenever I asked you about the 45, instead of "calling bs"and trying to embarrass me because I'm not as smart as you on the topic, you would have gotten the same response as bapple did.bapple explained why my thinking was incorrect instead of insulting me. Hence the reason I posted this thread, to actually learn. But yes, if you see it as me twisting my argument more power to you. As far as the grip size, I thought that I would have to get the largest grip possible to fit my hand in the 9mm and a medium in the 40, BECAUSE I DID NOT KNOW THE FRAMES WERE THE SAME

Didn't see this until after my last post, but frick you dude. You have any idea how many industries and tens of thousands of families this has affected? Not everyone is a 25 year old hand spending all his money every 15th day. Go play in traffic bitch

Northern posted a site in here when I asked about the .45 caliber in the gun I'm looking for. Omahaoutfitters or something. And highlighted the steps needed

I bought my ex one from here. Great price and fast shipping. You definitely won't be disappointed with that gun. I have only met one, maybe two people who don't like them.

Eta: I was apprehensive about buying my first gun online. Just didn't seem right. It was pretty easy though. Just find an FFL near you to accept the gun and tell the company you bought it from to send it to them. Give the company your payment info, and give the FFL guy a small fee ($15-30)

Actually the place I work at I am fully aware. However i do not pity those who put their labor in a field that is unstable. But that is another thread in itself. Nobody is holding you hostage in here. I know there are threads on here titled "I love my 1.50 gas" that would be where you should be. Now please go frick yourself
