Because no one hunts in the woods anymore. Everyone hunts from a box stand because all the damn woods have been cut.
quote:Yeah, cuz mouth breathers are the type to use "obsolete". Look, this clames guy is the dumbest sumbitch to ever post here, and that's saying a lot. Hell, he makes you look smart.
Alx does not like this post
Hunted with one for five years and hated it. When I got my .270 the difference was night and day. So much more accurate especially at 200 yards.
Because no one hunts in the woods anymore. Everyone hunts from a box stand because all the damn woods have been cut. There are no more days of hunting out of a rickety ole wooded lean up on a white oak ridge.
problem with the winchester is putting a scope on it.
I'm not claiming to be an expert on anything, I'm just saying that it's more likely user error on that guys part than gun error. Poor gun selection by the shooter is not the gun's fault.
Mouth breathers sometimes flip open a dictionary but that doesn't change the sound they make
quote:I'm not dumb enough to try it.
. Sucks you can't make a decent 200 yard shot with a 30-30 but that's a reflection of your skill not anyone else's.
quote:Good grief you're dumb. Look, do you have a disability you're not disclosing? You really need to tell us.
Dumb is talking about something you haven't shot in 20 years.
quote:Like every other hunter who chooses a better tool for the job, right?
You're just lazy then, it sure a hell isn't difficult with even a little practice.
quote:There was never a reason to shoot that out dated POS caliber and gun. I'm not an actor in westerns.
That explains you whining about a shot with a gun you haven't used in 20 years
You don't have a point anymore on this topic.
quote:You can say this all you want. It won't change anything. I'd never try it.
You can't make the shot, I understand that, that's your problem.
quote:I never said anything otherwise. People use obsolete shite all the time. More power to them. Doesn't change the fact that the stuff is obsolete and that you have a learning disability.
Those of us who still use and practice with the caliber are free to disregard your opinion on the matter because you don't have the experience that counts.
