I'm thinking about getting a new Sierra, are the AT4s still going for sticker prices or is anyone having luck negotiating?

I got a Sierra SLT x31 last year but couldn't negotiate much because there were barely any trucks on lots across the state.

However, this year I'm seeing a lot more at dealerships when I drive by so I'd imagine you can work them down on the price compared to a year ago.

AT4 with diesel you can probably negotiate price, AT4 with 6.2L will probably be msrp+

Pick up trucks are best bought used, now. I regret not getting a full size when I got my jeep back in 2015. I love my jeep, and may never get rid of it. idk, but i do wish i had an engine-that-could, and a full sized truck bed.

I'm holding out for the AT4X with the AEV package, going to be a few more months before they become available. No discounts on those. My local dealership has like 10 AT4s sitting on the lot, I am assuming they will deal on them. Only issue is they're all the Duramax engine and not the 6.2L V8.

Besides the fuel, what is the major diff between these 2 engines? My current one has a 5.3

No real huge difference in terms of metrics, although the 6.2 has significantly more HP. The 6.2 is just an awesome, robust powerplant and very fun to drive.

6.2 has 75 more hp than the 5.3, but it feels and drives like double the power. It’s soooo effortlessly fast with great throttle response. Worth every penny. Sounds mean too.
