Kinda surprised they are coming to Hartwell for the 3rd time in 10 years.

I used to work in Seneca and actually bought my boat in Martin, Ga while I was up there. I fished lake Keowee quite a bit. Beautiful country over that way.

Yes indeed.

If BassCat ever gets their act in gear and unveil their new Pantera Classic before the end of times then I might be able to watch the 2018 BC from the water.

I had a conversation with a BASS guy about this topic and he basically said the biggest reason is the EXPO show they put on during the Classic.

They have to be somewhat close to a major city that has both an arena for the weigh-in and a large convention center for the EXPO. That eliminates a lot of very good fisheries from even being considered.

Exactly, not to many places in the south that have facilities for both within an hour to 1.5 hour drive of a major fishery.

The new pantera classic will be unveiled the the lake Conroe classic in a month.

Shreveport is hard to beat for a Classic. It's got everything they need right in town.
