5 does so far. None came in the plot. All have been traveling and periodically stop to grab an acorn

Eta: Make that 14 + 1 spike

Trinity Co, TX
32, slight E wind
Tripod on food plot
.30-30

They've been hammering plots after the frost clears. I've seen 5 so far, 3 before it was light enough to get a good look, then 2 does, one of which got shot at. Gonna finish this hunt before looking for her

Ever deer has crossed in the same spot. This is my first time in this stand and never knew that crossing was there. Hope I wasn't playing on my phone when the buck crossed

Had deer moving all morning. Saw a nice 8-pt but think he is 3.5 and didn't have enough time to convince myself otherwise. Went and found the doe I shot, gonna get her in the cooler and head back out again

Ended up adding one more bluewing. 7 total for our blind. Other two blinds had 3 combined. We got a couple flights after the early first light birds.

Third camera this year stole. Think it's about time to stop putting them out.

Hunted the marsh near Braithwaite.... Big flights of teal and grays. Finished with 10 due to poor shot selection.

Birds were working real good

Got off the stand at 0930. That greasy arse sausage biscuit wanted out! Saw 5 does and a couple had yearlings. 8 all together. Where in the hell were they last weekend???
Felt good to get out there, especially without mosquitoes carrying me off of the stand.

Awesome hunt this am 24 in 1:45. All big ducks except 1 teal. Really a good morning. About to go try and catch some fish. Good luck everyone with evening hunts

Day 1 of my first trip to Iowa.

Saw more action this morning than in the previous 5 years in Louisiana.

Now I'm in a box blind for the evening hunt. Dozen or so in the field already. Looking for a big one
