Men's US figure skater tested positive. Here will come the showdown we have all been waiting for. Will the USOC abide by the segregation and idiotic tactics of the Chinese or bend?
Skater claims took every precaution and followed every rule they were given. This alone should end the fallacy of isolation, as the bubble did not even work.
Does anyone remember what the policy was in Tokyo last summer? I do not at all.

That said I’d be surprised if the USOC had control over whether he has to comply with China’s covid policies either.

The issue is when they take them to "isolate" they do not tell you where they are taking them. So that is why I say here comes the battle.

He already won a silver in the team event so he probably just said frick it. He has his olympic medal. This was going to be his last Olympics anyway. Hell he barely qualified to make the team.

Yeah they do, they have had like 100 positive athletes or close to it. They know where they are being taken
