Nope...cops will definitely investigate this and prosecute this to the fullest. Now had Noce done something really serious, like blowing a .081 on a Friday night, then they probably would have turned a blind eye...

I can't for the life of me understand why he was charged with Agg Rape which is so serious that he could receive the death penalty, but allowed to plead to a bs carnal knowledge charge that got him a suspended sentence

Might have been a weak case. All they had was the young child's testimony. And the Mother had motive to put her up to it as they were getting divorced.

Has anyone been executed under this La law? I wish it a more legit threat and had some teeth in the law.
But I guess you have to actually catch the sick frick in the act to try and stick that charge.

Was this like the cases of an apparent suicide, double tap shotgun blast to the back of the head?

Dman…someone put some thought into this. It makes you wonder about their mindset too to do this to another human. This was definitely planned out and not a heat of the moment reaction to something.

That's the first I've heard about the bleached house and being found in a barrel.
This was almost definitely done by someone connected to the child victim. Someone really wanted this dude dead and took time and steps to cover their tracks. It's going to be interesting how this all turns out.
