Perhaps my preference, I used Ebay long before Amazon, and still use if for some items. Have been using Amazon a lot more frequently with prime. To me, Amazon is far easier to use, can search for what I want and within 2 mins have it ordered and not have to worry about it. Ebay has always been more time consuming and complicated, but again, maybe it's just me.

Yep. The actual item was $9.75 so I included the tax to keep his head from exploding.

So when it's all said and done I could save a whopping 55 cents to wait twice as long to get my item shipped to me.

Wait a minute... I actually paid 55 cents LESS than ebay. Goddamn he's got me all twisted with his absurd logic.

I paid less AND got it quicker.

Hmm. Maybe. 12 sounds like a lot of payments. I don't want to deal with that. But I could make a dozen work!

I order at least 100 items yearly from Amazon, use Amazon Prime to stream videos, my kid uses it for games and shite on his tablet.

With all the various services I get from Prime I'd say you could factor in less than $1 "Prime tax" to any item that I purchase... probably closer to 10 or 20 cents.

CAD is just irrational.

Amazon is usually the cheapest seller on Amazon. The third party sellers, at best, may occasionally be slightly cheaper, and usually with either additional shipping cost or non-expedited shipping.

CAD thinks we're stupid because we don't buy from ABCGOODPRODUCT4YOU, Inc. which sells the Fitbit you want for $0.34 less than Amazon. Amazon fulfillment rustles him because he'll no longer get the the shredded local newspaper and cigarette butt packaging he's accustomed to from EBay sellers. Hassle-free returns that don't involve opening up a 4 week dispute on Ebay's 1996 website are another thing he's miffed about.

and faster shipping.

For non prime shipping? I find it hard to believe if it isn't fulfilled by Amazon that I would get it faster than the next day that I currently get through Prime in most cases due to my location to a warehouse. I occasionally am disappointed with two day delivery though.

All of that. CAD just thinks he's enlightened. A long time ago he took a ridiculous stance on Amazon and now he has to come up with absurd justification for why it is valid.

They have eyes yet they cannot see.

And yes dam, I ordered these things on Saturday and all showed up yesterday morning from eBay inside Amazon prime branded boxes.

I'm just telling you what happened.

Here's the rub: if you don't have Amazon prime eBay is faster and cheaper and hassle free.. Never a minimum charge bullshite to get free shipping so you can buy random shite you need without putting together a $50 order with other crap you don't need just to get the shipping.

The end. I never claimed to be comparing prime because I don't have it but in terds case eBay only came out 55 cents higher even with prime.

btw thats a FIFTY-FIVE cent difference between ebay and amazon with NO PRIME, NO ADD-ON, NO SALES TAX, NO NONENSE.

There is a chrome plug in called Honey that automatically finds the vendor on prime that is either not charging sales tax or has the cheapest price on the product you are seeking. It's a great plug in.

I'm actually speaking to everyone else in this thread but you, who are on prime.
