"There are blue locusts and so many of these weird, prehistoric-looking cockroaches on the ground at night that it crunches when you walk. Place is fricked. No one is allowed there for a reason. Don't ever go."

Succinctly put from Vice.

$1 million doesn't buy what it used to. NO.

I'd spend a week inside a hippo's a-hole for a million dollars, so snake island doesn't bother me.

Build a ring of fire to sleep in at night. No worries.

So wait.. The venom of that snake is 5x more potent and faster acting than the snake that caused this

Bring it...

For million I'd be snake killingest mf'er these bastards have ever seen. After one week those snakes would be calling it Pax Regis island.

Also, only 7% chance of morbidity from the bite even without treatment.

I'd do it since there's a machete

Id have to sit down and really think about it with just a machete but prlly so, depending on how good a shape the cabin was in. If the rules were changed and I could have a Ruger 10/22 Rifle and 10k rounds of ammo, Id sign up on the spot.

I would do that right now for a lot less just to get a break from work and school.

I'd be more apt to stay on this island than an island filled with equal amounts of roaches. I hate roaches.

I watched the vice video and the place is not that bad. Dudes walked the whole island and barely saw 10 snakes in 2 days. Living in a cabin with food, water, and machete? I'd do that for 10 grand

I am very curious what theses snakes are eating to survive. Are the cannibals? is there a rodent population on the island that supports the snakes?

For a week, inside of a sealed functional cabin, with 3 days supply of water, yes I would do it for a million.

This assumes the cabin is easily accessible with a minimal walk not through jungle from where I am dropped off and picked up.

I could do it. Seems like the people that got got didn't know what they were getting into.

I wouldn't even stay in the cabin. Just out on the coast in the sun. Snakes aren't going to spend too much time out in the sun.

Large populations of migratory sea birds. That's the scary part, the snakes hang out in the trees.
