Sorry, I knew more than a few people who had their shite stolen by thugs who needed new TV's and speakers during the storm. They don't get a lot of sympathy from me.

If they were fortunate enough to find someone in the home/store they were looting, hopefully they got it between the eyes.

I see no difference between them robbing an empty/not empty house and robbing a store, especially given that a lot of store owners stayed on their property during the storm.

If someone picked off a few of them robbing businesses and homes to keep them from continuing, I wouldn't complain.
Perfectly understandable, but Chris is the law. If they weren't stealing from Chris then he had no right to murder someone because of how he felt. That is murder, dude.

No, I would call the police. That is what the police is there for.

I think the story is he was protecting people from the violent looters. He also claims to kill two car jackers in texas, but thats not real either

Good luck. It's Katrina.

ETA: for those who weren't there, there was no power, water, cell phones, etc. You're not calling anyone.

So let's say you see thugs rolling up and breaking into your neighbor's house to get big screens and speakers and you know their families are inside.

Do you shoot?

There is a huge difference between a simple thief and someone taking advantage of a disaster to loot not food and water but luxury items and electronics.

We are all better off without those people in our society.

Now exactly how is that the same as sniping random people because you feel like you are upholding the law? That is murder my friend.
I know the law says differently but my morals don't consider killing looters murder. It should be perfectly legal and, in fact, encouraged.

During Katrina, Chris Kyle claimed he sniped looters.

Simply didn't happen. People that believe this must have an I.Q. of 75 OR LESS.

If you can't see how, I'm not going to waste my time explaining.

Well if Chris Kyle was just making this all up and he didn't snipe anyone, don't these people still exist?

If they were trying to loot my house....yeah I probably would shoot. At the very least they'll know I'm armed and leave.

Honestly I am not sure if you see the difference between robbing someone's house/store and looting.

I'm talking in general. I never read his book and really don't know much about him other than he killed a bunch of people overseas.

Explain it to me.

Your hypo has changed so many times that I'm tired of following along.

I thought you were going to explain the difference between robbing someone's home and looting.

Lobbing different hypotheticals at me isn't doing anything.

ETA: Better yet, don't worry about it. We're not getting anywhere. You're going to keep changing the hypo so make some vague point. One of which I suspect is that I am a closet looter, following the various storms around the country to take advantage of the situation.
