Scruffy currently only gets 3 weeks paid vacation so 6 weeks sounds really nice.

Make more. Only reason I'd take a job with 17 weeks off is if I'm 50+.

ETA: Posted before you said what the salaries are. Not much difference since you're over 200k. I was thinking you were talking about 90 vs 60 or something like that. Over 200K I'd take the 17 weeks.

its not paid....It would be shift work 14 hour shifts during the week 12 on weekends. Have to work 10 shifts a month and one 11 shift month every quarter

It depends on what percentage 30k is of my salary. From your previous posts, I'd say I'd choose the 30k less with more time off.

Personally, I'd take 30k less and 17 weeks off.

ETA: how many weekends would you be working? Do you choose your shifts? I was thinking that the 17 weeks off would be PTO, not scattered throughout the month.

215k and 17 weeks off. Hell yeah, I'll take that over 245 and 6 weeks.

Other caveat: more money is call rotation with 6 weeks paid....the other is night shift work.

Why wouldn't you post everything in the OP instead of making this thread a musical chairs of answers as you move the goal posts.

That sounds nice, but Scruffy would get bored with that much free time.

17 weeks off is a lot of free time. You better have one hell of a hobby.
