Would you rather lose an arm or a leg?

I saw the story on the NC shark attacks this am. The mother of the girl said she lost her arm, but thankfully will keep her leg. It got me to thinking, which would be worse; arm or leg? Would it make a difference if it was your dominate arm or not?

I would rather keep my legs. I can dominate with either arm.

All I know is I hope I get something really expensive out of the whole deal. I'd give up both in that case.

Leg for sure, good prosthetics for replacement legs, but nothing for the arm and precise movements of the hand.

I think I'd rather lose a leg. I use my hands more often than my legs for work (computers) and think I'd be better off in a wheelchair than without my arm

I would rather lose a leg (as long as it is not my third leg). It is a lot easier to deal with a prosthetic leg than arm.

Both legs and replace with pogo sticks.

I'm going to say leg.Last month at the Doctor I sat beside a dude that had lost both arms.He came in with a guy that lost a leg 2 years ago in a wreck.
The guy missing his arms was with a girl that was his wife or sister.
I couldn't imagine his hardships.

I can't masturbate with my leg.

Much rather lose a leg. I haven't seen a prosthetic yet for an arm that gives anywhere close to the functionality of leg.

Tough question. Without the second arm it's difficult to do even the simplest activities. Tying shoes, getting dressed, flossing, bathing, typing, cooking, you name it.

Leg easily. I can stick a fake leg on and function normally. Try to put a beer in a koozie with one hand.

Losing an arm would definitely be easier to live with

Leg prosthetics are amazing these days, so leg for sure.

Would rather lose a leg. Prosthetics have come a long way. An arm missing is a lot more noticeable than a leg.

Leg. I have a friend who does quite well with only one leg. He runs his own AC business, makes calls.

I don't understand how people say arm. Try walking with a prosthetic leg and then try writing with a fake arm

Leg. Need the arms for guitar.
