Just looked up Tuscon and apparently its economy is booming.

Hell yeah I’d go. Could be an offer you can’t refuse.

What is her occupation? Nola isn’t exactly a small town.

Yes. Even if you definitely won’t take it, use the interview as practice. Nothing to lose

I never thought I could see so much subtle bragging and shade in one post. Congrats on the sex

Contacted by a Recruiter today...Phone Screening tomorrow...hoping for the same situation...opportunities are opportunities. You never know...

And what the hell does your wife do? Surely you aren't suggesting she's a potato and can't get a job...or are you?

Free trip. Possible leverage at your current job. Just tossing out numbers here, say they offer you 25-30% bump over your current salary plus relocation. You can take that to your boss and see if they will bump you 15-20% to keep you. If they won’t then you’re not as valuable as you think and you can start looking local

Some companies don't counter offer you should find out the policy first before trying this stunt. Mine will call your bluff unless you are irreplaceable

Tucson will be a lot safer area to live in than BR and NOLA. Also....this company have an office in PHX? Maybe in time you could work your way to a transfer there?

Tucson isn’t that bad. I prefer PHX personally....but would live in Tucson any day over LA.
