Would there be a benefit in terms of gaining strength of using a 125 lb sledgehammer over a standard 10 pounder (let's assume you can handle the weight)?

Try it for six weeks and let us know.

125lb sledg? Is this even a thing?
Posted on 5/25/16 at 7:55 pm to RummelTiger
There's a greater chance of injury, so it's worth asking

Weilding a 125 lb sledge hammer is not usung the purpose of a sledge hammer.
Even if you could use it that is. If you are, you arent using it properly.

Would moving a heavy thing make you stronger than moving a lighter thing? Yes dummy.
Posted on 5/25/16 at 8:02 pm to The Silverback
Why would you do this?
Posted on 5/25/16 at 8:02 pm to LSUTigersVCURams
Not always the case, dummy
Posted on 5/25/16 at 8:03 pm to mouton
Because I can. Want to one day compete with guys like Brian Shaw and Zyrdrunas Savickas
Posted on 5/25/16 at 8:03 pm to The Silverback
Yes it sure as hell is always the case.
Posted on 5/25/16 at 8:04 pm to The Silverback
I would be willing to wager you can get stronger impact from the regular sledge hammer than a 125 lb one.

Are you seriously calling someone else dumb after posting this dumb shite??? I'm pretty fricking dumb and have never heard of something so dumb.
