There is one damn woodpecker that beats down on my house every morning around dawn. It sounds like a fricking hammer being brought to my house.

I just googled and discovered they are protected by the migratory bird act. My neighbor (happening to her too) has tried all the gimmicks i.e. fake owls, shiny objects, etc. to scare it away.

The thing is unphased and I think motivated more to frick with us

Nature lovers: How big of a deal would it be to drop this thing with my high-powered pellet gun? Is there a shortage of them? Am I killing the last known white rhino or something?

Because I'm at the point where I want to see this thing disappear...forever.

Do it and don't tell anyone.

No harm no foul. Change this thread to something else too so no one knows.

You have a carpenter bee problem? They are likely trying to get to a food source. Eliminate the food source, eliminate the pecker.

or...

Place a suet woodpecker feeder near the outside of your home.

Problem solved either way.

You've got to demonstrate dominance. Have you tried mounting it?

Tried. Now I've got a second hole in my dick.

Did you google how to get rid of woodpeckers?

Yeah and my neighbor has tried all the "best ways" that I've seen and it has only served to piss the thing off I think
