Yes, Holy wall of text, it's GingerKittie with some info.

Here is the actual summary of one of the cases that I was referring to before. Krentel had a vendetta against this guy (J.T.) and wanted him OUT of the dept so he could be chief. Apparently people really loved J.T and though highly of him. Krentel didn't like that at all.

You can clearly see the petty tactics he used to try and destroy this guy's career and how he used the dept money and lawyers to do it. The dept is going broke with the lawyer fees for the lawsuits and BS he has caused.

It might be a TL;DR for some but i am submitting if because these are the facts and they show the kind of person Krentel is. If you displease him or don't dance to his tune and he will want you destroyed. (At taxpayer's expense, of course).

This Guardian Policy case involved adverse actions taken by the St. Tammany Parish against Local 4800’s President J.T. for exercising his First Amendment right to free association (engaging in union activities) under the U.S. Constitution.

As part of the settlement, J.T. recovered $150,000 in damages, which is about 35 percent more than his lost wages. He waived reinstatement to his former job because, for personal and professional reasons, he did not wish to return to the District’s fire department. The settlement also provided for his termination being changed to a voluntary resignation, and the disciplinary actions have been removed from his employment record.

Substantial attorneys’ fees and litigation expenses were also recovered as part of the settlement and reimbursed to the IAFF.

I mean, from FB looks like married with small child. Imagine if that accusation is false how shitty that is? Even if true, not sure about putting it out there like that, given small children involved.

I am glad they did this so they have a public forum that they can use to post on the case and get the facts out there.

Meanwhile, Steve is being quiet. He hasn't said a word about his wife's death and the matter of homicide vs suicide. I bet he already has a lawyer but luckily we taxpayers won't be paying for it this time.

As it stands, the coroner has not determined the death as a homicide yet (or as a suicide) but the sheriff's office is investigating it as a potential homicide.

I do wonder if there was an insurance policy on Nanette and if that was part of the motivation. That hasn't been addressed yet.
