Sometimes the "wrong" that needed fixing wasn't with the kid, but the biological parents. Sorry if redundant. Didn't read while thread.

at the risk of sounding like a bleeding heart... you don't get any guarantees that your biological kids will be without problems... maybe we could stop labeling kids with problems or difficulties as defective... no one's perfect. we don't choose our birth.
