Why is there so much racism on my media?

First and foremost, I am listening to the skip and Shannon podcast (everyday I bike to work listening to this). They talk about racism every other day and it's getting a bit annoying... latest news is people writing the n word on lebrons house. Now people you say it's the media blah blah blah, why can't people just stop doing racist stuff? It starts with an individual but it can expand. I am tired of reading or listening to this stuff man, just want sports

It's the last thread the progs have left to keep trying to push their identity politics. The progs have basically become Al Sharpton. They need racism to be a hot topic so they stay relevant and make money off of it.

Hearing the announcers in last night's game praising LeBron for his comments on racism being such a big issue in America still made me eye roll so hard I almost fell out my chair.

Simply put: Controversy sells. If it's not sales they are after it's ratings. Controversy sells ratings as well.
Two things sell: Sex and Racism. Sex is still regulated by the FCC and the like...so you can't put it out there due to "Decency laws"...so they need another way to make money or get higher ratings.
In walks Racism. A perfect topic for controversy (and ratings).
