Are people just watching while someone backs up over their child and then continuously runs them over until death? How is no one physically yanking these drivers out of their seats and beating the shite out of them?

So what percent of the earth's total population is that? Just curious.

Right at 100%

That makes us all Chinese! That explains why I'm so good at math and think it's hysterical to pee pee in people's cokes.

Wow. China's civil war could be called World War 3 with all those people.

My wife says her Vietnamese relatives still there say it is commonplace to negotiate a price for a motor vehicle fatality while the body is still laying in the street. But I've never heard of this.

I don't care how economical it is. How can a person who isn't mentally ill justify murdering an innocent person to justify a mistake? Are we that culturally different? fricking soulless.

I'm scratching my head as to who could have down voted this.

It's pretty f'ked up if this is all 100% gospel truth.

Because the driver would sue and file charges against the person who attacked them, resulting in the attackers prison time and total bankruptcy, while the drive would then convince a corrupt court that running over a 2 year old's head 7 times was accidental.

A sadistic person could argue this is capitalism at its finest. Cheaper to kill someone than pay for their lifetime of care
Except capitalism relies heavily on human capital. Unless a person is severely injured and unable to work (paralyzed, vegetative state), I would think that the value lost from death will usually be greater. Now the more goverment dependent a society gets (not free market) that opposite starts to occur. So if sadistic person blames it on capitalism, a logical person would see that it's capitalism that would have helped prevent it.

Was in a cab in Beijing once that heavily clipped a biker and may have partially run over him (I'm hoping it was his tires and not his legs, so it was close). The driver started driving faster, despite me and my fellow American passengers telling him he needed to stop for the biker. No fricking way was he going to do it. It's well known that Chinese people don't want to be accountable for anything on the road, and will murder people if it saves their arse. Remember the toddler from a few years ago? I'm sure that goes on in China every week.

The free market revolves around individuals making choices based on what will suit them, not based on what will serve society for the better.
