Highly doubtful. Any example?

A lot of the ones going down Clearview. The ones particularly by Elmwood drive me nuts!

Well the Huey P Long bridge is in Harahan, Jeferrson Parish.

Not sure what New Orleans has to do with your temper tantrum.

Didn't look at all of them, but the one at transcontinental and vets, for instance, is exactly like I described before.

It is impossible to see that light unless you pass through another light, just before it. If the first light you pass through is green, that one will be green.

The short and simple answer is so you don't floor it to beat a yellow light.

Makes sense to me. I always thought that they were the cheapo traffic signals that a contractor used to be able to lowball a project and still make a little profit.

Funny all the Nagin comments. Like he had control over State roads in other parishes.

Do you Fresnel lens, bro?

quote:

Fresnel lenses are used in traffic lights, directing the light into only the lane for which the signal is intended. This helps prevent driver confusion and accidents.

Have you ever mailed a letter to Harahan??

Or elmwood?

They use 70123, which is a NOLA zip code. So to many it seems like NOLA proper.

confusing./

My company is in Harahan, zip code 70123.
Our official address isn't Harahan though, it's New Orleans.

where are these lights? I never notice them downtown or uptown.

St Charles right off of Lee Circle, at the underpass if you are going Uptown.
