I had a meeting this morning in NO East on Bullard Ave for a new commercial project. I was there from 10:30 am to 11:20 and never saw a single police officer drive by the area. I was also fortunate to see a late model sedan on I-610 on cinder blocks with all four tires removed and nowhere to be seen.

I was armed and kept my head on a swivel, but cannot fathom what happens there when the sun goes down and no police to be found for miles.

150 year old figures of white men with a lovely patina that is loved on Pinterest. Their swords still opress and terrify the masses to stay on their porches and seclude themselves to their v6 version of muscle cars and 150 dollar peasant shoes.

1) Horrific public school system

2) Not enough NOPD officers (think the dropout rate for new recruits is close to 50/50)

3) Judicial system here is a revolving door. Criminals getting picked up nowadays usually have multiple incidents in the past
