Because the people on this site think everything is trashy. Many are just kids that have not grown up yet acting like they have money. Many of the rest either have never been on one or they went on a 3 or 4 day cruise out of New Orleans or Galveston and don't know any better. A 7 day cruise has completely different people on board even on Carnival. Take a Disney Cruise and you have some considerably wealthy people on board.

But the same people that say cruises are trashy will post the next week about where can they find a condo on Orange beach. I find it interesting to say the least.

I though cruises were cool when I was a kid, then I made a friend in college who's dad has a 100ft yacht in the Caribbean and I've been on a couple of trips with him. I'll probably never go on a cruise again.

Did Alaska on Princess. Not too trashy.
Did NOLA Western Med 7 day on Norwegian. Sort of Trashy.
Did Carnival Elation. Really trashy but we had a good time with the frinds we went with.
Did Norwegian Epic Western Mediterranean. Not trashy at all.

Couldn't agree more. Most of the people on these 7 day cruises are honeymooners and old farts. Few people with kids or people on a "budget" will take these cruises.

Wife and I took 7 day Carnival and stayed in a suite. No complaints whatsoever.
