I don't think people manufacturer drama, that's dumb. People can only relate their problems to the ones they have already been through or are going through, not what anyone else has. That's why people beg for advice because they feel lost and helpless. Someone having their dog die might be upset, say a few words and throw it in a hole in the back while another would drive his dogs body 4 states away just for an autopsy so he can love with himself. Bottom line? Everyone struggles in their own way, let them be or help them, but stop being a fricking dick because that only makes the world a worse place to live

it's easier to follow advice from someone with whom you have no personal connection. most people don't care if they offend or "dissapoint" some anonymous poster like they would a family member or friend.
plus if you follow advice from a friend and it turns out badly, it's hard to get over and some people (women) will hold grudges
