See.. when you're my size everyday is leg day.
I'm barrel chested and broad and hold 220. So anytime I'm on my legs I'm stacked. Got the calf's to prove it

I HATE leg day
I used to, but I focused on my legs and before long I started to like it - don't get me wrong, it still sucks - but, now it's the most rewarding workout of the week.

Because real exercise is aerobic, not anaerobic.
Sure you can lift, but you can't hike 5 miles without feeling it....
Two completely different energy systems. Both serve their purposes, but aerobic is no inherently better than anaerobic or vice versa except regarding specific training purposes.

Mental midgets.
Society focuses on the size of the upper body as the most important.

I injured a bicep tendon a week ago so I'm relegated to squats and running for at least another week or 2. Back squats and front squats galore.
The bicep looks funky and is slightly sore.

They feel they get enough work on them kicking your punk arse. Stop worrying about other people and take care of you

The bigger your legs are the smaller your dick looks.

I won't lie though. In my youth I skipped legs every week. I swam, ran, and climbed bluffs. My legs were fine. I turned 40 last year and my legs were looking puny so I rededicated myself to never skipping legs. Paying off now.

I had ACL Surgery 3 weeks ago and I did leg day today. Granted it was very light, but I have to get back into the routine. Proper technique is VERY important.

Looks painful (or at least was, it sounds like you´re further on in the injury and recuperation cycle).
Lose the wife beater, man.

It's a Captain America tank. A wife beater would be white with a beer stain.
My dad tore the same tendon completely 25 or so years ago. He couldn't move his arm for a week. I think I partially tore mine.
I'm going to take it easy for another 10 or so days and then start getting back to upper body workouts and see if I have any issues. My ortho already knows about it because I saw him two weeks ago due to the issue: Tendonitis and and impingement in the shoulder. If it lingers, I may opt for surgery.

dat 5x5 baw

5x5 is for noobs.
I dislike leg day but I do them only to supplement my deadlifts. I don't need size in my legs.
I currently have a supraspinatus sprain and it hurts to rack squats.

I just wish I could get killer legs and legs that would look great in shorts.

Tommy Moffitt liked my calf pics on Twitter.
