Also they may not be making more money

My granddaddy died last year and left my grandma plenty of money. But my mom took over their rental business and nobody wants to buy their crap land and the price of gas has gone down so they aren't getting much off wells

And my grandma has a shopping problem. She's not really on a fixed income but should be because the money will eventually run out the way she's cashing in CDs and buying everything for everybody

Talk to the people at Chemical Bank, I'm sure they can explain it to you. My friend Jerry's nana is on a very fixed income and is with them.

Fight it.

Work out, dress sharp, drive well, take care of your business in the bedroom, tell jokes with the young people at the tailgate, don't hang around with whiny old people.

Fight it.

When people retire, their income is set. People still in the workforce, on the other hand, can get promotions, raises, etc.

It means they didn't save for retirement and living off the government.

Yeah. Nothing says they can get a part time job. Tough shite. We're all on fixed incomes to some degree. I can't get the fricking King Air I want. Boo fricking hoo!!!

All you young boys will be hiding your own Easter eggs one day. Let's see how you feel about a fixed income then.

Some aren't able to work and some may have lost their retirement due to things beyond their control.

My arse will be set. I'm saving and investing now so I won't have to live like shite in my golden years. I'll bypass some things now to have shite later. Not to mention I'll be debt free.

That is why I posed the question. Are you on commission or something or is your income fixed too?

I overheard an old bag tell my assistant that she will be glad when my children are finished with school because she is tired of paying their tuition.

I told her from the next room that since my kids have degrees in liberal arts that I will be paying for my grandkids schooling too, so good luck with that.

This shite gets old quick, maybe she should just brush her teeth once a week or so.

Some, but not most. Most simply didn't bother to save or plan and seemed to think social security would provide them with a fine living. SS was never supposed to be anything but a subsidy. Irresponsible people come in all ages. I'll bet there are very few that lost it due to things out of their control. I see dumbasses all the time "managing" their 401k's. They won't listen to those of us with a little knowledge. So why should I give a shite when they are broke in their later years?

Returns that were too good to be true and surpassed even the great Warren Buffett by a wide margin? They shoulda known. If it's too good to be true....it is!!! I stay on top of my shite and do my own investing. He played off their greed. No sympathy.
