Why did over 6,000 homes along Nicholson just lose power?

I lost power around 2:30 and checked the outage map on Entergy's website. Over 6,000 homes along Nicholson between Bluebonnet and around Lee lost power and it's not expected to be back on until 5 pm. I tried calling for answers but my wait time was over 20 minutes. Anyone know what in the world happened?

There's really 6000 homes in that stretch?

I simplified the description but it really stretched to Burbank too, so includes Springlake, Fair Hill, Nicholson Lakes, the Gardere area, and whatever is closer to Lee.

Just saw Winter Storm Jonas on the OT board, so that must be it. I don't watch the news or care about current events in the slightest if I'm not directly impacted.

I am curious as to what exactly you hoped to accomplish by "calling for answers"?...

Pretty much what's wrong in America right now.
