Why are so many threads being whacked?

I've noticed several threads in which I've commented recently have been deleted. One earlier this evening regarding the heat in Washington DC along with the number of Hispanics residing there and another a few days ago concerning who has and hasn't entered a woman thru the back door. What's up with this? Is the OT becoming politically correct to appease the snowflakes? I've been here since roundabout 2007 and it's never been this sensitive. Should I be giving an ideological litmus test to every topic before I post? Is cursing gonna be banned next?

My guess is it has to do with advertising. Ad agencies are highly suspicious of internet content in today's world, and if Chicken wants advertising to thrive here, baws can't be posting pics of scantily clad babes all the time, or go on borderline racist diatribes.
