I can see why people don't like them but most females that freak out and run just do it because they think it's how they are supposed to react.

I walked into a spider web once and came away with 5 large bites on my back the size of nickels.
Those frickers are mischievous little bastards.
Also why I hate wasps. They're an uncomfortable nuisance.

Mainly because you can't always see where they are. Something that deadly that remains so hidden is creepy.

Growing up in Hawaii, we would go through some heavy cover that was full of the black and yellow garden spiders and come out with six or seven of them (and a bunch of web) all over us.
Spiders aren't scary, but I know people who are scared to death of them.

I hate wasps, but I am allergic so they could easily put my arse into the hospital. Most spiders in the USA are not poisonous and especially the household spiders that freakout females and sissy men.

Snakes, roaches, etc slither off and are scared of you. Spiders call your bluff. They just sit there waiting for you to make a move. Nobody wants to make a move.
