Josh Guillory is the incumbent Mayor/President.
Kathleen Blanco's daughter Monique is challenging him. She just switched parties to run. She's a very liberal democrat.
The Dark Money Pac attacking Guillory is run by Conrad Comeaux the current tax assessor. All contributions are hidden.

Guillory is a huge POS but it’s hard to describe how much better for Lafayette he is than that bitch who’s running on nothing but her maiden name

He is better if you don’t count how he and Cody Fortier are robbing the tax payers blind. When Guillory found out he was being investigated on a $55m scam of taxpayers he had to go to rehab. Fortier starting buying land at 3x the going rate to try and hide the money. In the end the thievery will be over $100m. Oh and I agree Boulet is a fake republican but it’s a no win situation

Look at who’s voting for Monique and look who’s voting for Josh. I think I have more in common with Josh’s voting block.
ETA: Josh is a crook, but he has my interests in mind on political matters. Monique is a crook but has democrat’s interest in mind. Did we not learn anything as a state when we elected a “moderate” democrat in JBE?
