I just bought a new car in April and someone backed into the rear fender a couple weeks ago. I took it to PDR to avoid bondo/painting but now it's worse as the guy couldn't access the damage easily. Can anyone suggest a reputable company. Idc about how long it takes, just want it done right.

A.R.T. on Hwy 73 close to Highland intersection. Beat others by a long shot and great work. It's who Acura of Baton Rouge sends their repair work to.

Cavin's. Have a car being fixed there right now. Was about a six week wait until an opening was available.

I third that on Owens. They will be 30% more than the estimate and refuse to give it back until insurance is worked out which took a week. I say don't use Custom Colors either, as they don't do very good work. Medines and Cavins are both good.

I worked as an appraiser in BR for 2 years. No to Cavins, Lemoines, or Medines. I'd go to Collision Solutions on Fla. Blvd. frick No to Owens. Worse people in the world.

Me too. Owens is shady as frick. Vu at collision solutions is awesome. Medines fricked up the paint on my truck 10 years ago. I like Precision Autobody off Airline, also.

When I lived in BR I belonged to the same church as Chris Medine and his family. They are nothing but good people. Never had any problem with the work he did.

I used to let Cajun Collision by Cortana Mall do all my repair work and was always 100% satisfied by they changed ownership and I'm not sure if quality dropped off at all.

The Medines are good people. Chris will give you a diminished value report and help you stand up to the insurance companies. He will not back down from them and will make them spend the money to repair you car properly.

Some of the body shops that are "preferred" by the insurance companies have a relationship with the insurance company and they do cheap work for them in exchange for the volume.

Chris Medines is not one of those guys. In fact the insurance companies don't like him because he is a consumer advocate.

Cavins is who the PDR guy recommended. I've used the dealership shops on other cars and they didn't do that great of a job. Hopefully these guys know body work and matching paint!
