Not sure if you're serious, but thanks anyway. Just curious, what's your connection to Pittsburgh?

Any list without Sammartino isn't valid, in my opinion. Bruno headlined 211 times at Madison Square Garden during his time on top, and sold it out 187 of those times.

In comparison, Hogan headlined MSG 21 times and sold it out 6 times.

I was the official time keeper at East Park Recreation Center back in 93-95ish when Mr Frankie was running shows there...... my boy Mike, his son, was the ring announcer. We had fun doing that as teens. Met a lot of old time Wrestlers.

You probably know me then. You know Crazy Joe & John Saxon (Hardtime Express)? They were the ones who hired me.

Very serious. I've been a wrestling fan since Wrestlemania 1, and I respect your impressive list of sites you have contributed to.

As far as Pittsburgh, I adopted them as a vote for Canada to be named our OC. Been a die hard LSU fan for 40 years.

Depends on what you're talking about. If you're talking about best wrestlers in company history it's different...Taker and Shawn would make that list.

I tend to think of it more as the biggest superstars, most popular ever. That is clearly to me

Hogan
Austin
Rock
Cena

I know them a little.

The Hardcover Express
Bronco Bob (RIP Big Fella)
Handsome Halfbreed
Don DiBiase

They were the locals that were there more often than not.

Chris Adams
Dick Murdock
JYD (Once)
Michael PS Hayes

Some of the bigger names that wrestles there on occasion .

Lawler is a good call. He could not perform in the ring, was a great promo, and had a fantastic creative mind.

JYD was there quite a bit during my tenure. He was addicted to crack, and he always demanded we get him some for him to appear.

Also worked with Terry Gordy, One Man Gang, Redd Dogg & Jazz (who later appeared in WWE), Mr. Wrestling 3 (former WWE jobber Dusty Wolfe), Kevin Northcutt

As far as local talents, there was Rip Steele, The Wild Cajun/Guido Buttofuco, Wade Hebert, Bronco Bob (good dude), The Towering Infernos, OG, Awesome Al Savage, Prissy Paul, Stan Sweetan

Not sure who was the owner when I was there (97-ish)... I think Wade or Wendell

I think Frank owned it then. Hell I may have seen you around. I remember Awesome Al. Chad Bonvilain (Bronco Bob) was a good dude. He was a bouncer and a bounty hunter too.

You remember Hardcover Express, they had Crazy Joe, short blonde hair dude from Alabama I believe and his partner was pretty cool with us. He was a Native American from Alabama as well.

I'm only talking about WWE as a national/global brand, so no Vince Sr, Bruno Sammartino, Pedro Morales, Bob Backlund, etc.

Vince McMahon
Hulk Hogan
Steve Austin
John Cena

Flair would be on an NWA or WCW Mt. Rushmore, not WWE.
