I had an aussie with recessive genes from both parents and was mentally challenged. That dog would chase flies all day, everyday. It never caught one.

I'd hope he would assert dominance over one of the most non lethal breeds lol

It wasn't so much the death that got me, it was the ripping in half of the hog, followed by turning around to see a groundhog leg sticking out of my corgis mouth, followed by the crunching and swallowing of said leg all like NBD.
I feed my dogs raw, but their food doesn't normally have feet still attached
I've seen a large male rott play with a 5ft gator, and when the gator finally had enough and removed part of the front paw, the rott grabbed behind his head and shook it like a toy.
People don't realize the power those larger breeds have.

My idiots Patton (thunder) and Bailey (lightning) killed this snake and ate its head. I was pretty damn proud.

One night I let my English bulldog out into the back yard and she commenced to whipping the hell out of a possum. It did manage to get away but the thought of her muzzle covered in grey fur and that wild look in her eyes still makes me laugh.
There was also a mockingbird that she apparently thought was mocking her. She hated that damn bird with all of its posturing and showboating. Never caught it though.

My lab catches, kills, and eats squirrels on a regular basis. He knows how proud I am as well.

my lab collie mix has come close to snatching squirrels while on leash. One day I'm going to let him off and see what he can do

No, but my dog would frick some wild animals up. 80 pounds of pure muscle, and he's part Doberman so he's a natural fighter. Jaw like a vice. Tackles like a LB, throwing his full weight at you and hitting you with his chest, wraps up with his arms and has a strong grip. Uses his paws to keep you under control.
He's only a 1.5 years so he does all that naturally. We still plan on having him trained as an attack/ guard dog.
He's also an alpha dog. He wasn't even half grown before he stared asserting dominance over our 110 pound golden retriever
He tackles better than our defense has for seven years.

Have a farm with several pit mixes - have seen them kill almost everything, including snapping turtles. The teamwork it takes to do that is pretty impressive. I can't stand it when they get something (except armadillos).
The absolutely most horrid thing I ever witnessed was a pack of coyotes getting on a baby calf as it was being born. I cried for days - even my Dad was rattled.
The calf died, the cow's physical injuries weren't that bad but she went into shock and had to be put down. We got donkeys after that - believe it or not donkeys are bad-asses.

My wire haired fox terrier has gone ham on birds, rabbits, snakes, etc. Dude is 22 pounds, but super nimble and aggressive.
But the more impressive one is my family's dog growing up. He was a Maltese. Birds would dive bomb him for fun, even causing his head to bleed (and more than LeBron's head). One day he scooped one of the birds out of the air and ripped it to shreds. Blood and feathers everywhere. I was so proud of the lap dog that day.

That dude really has a mancrush on his dog.
That, or he's a retired football announcer.
