The Astros used to have a Pitch, Hit, and Run competition for kids in Texas and surrounding states. I won the Baton Rouge competition. They flew me and my family to Houston, put us up at The Rice Hotel, had a "Meet and Greet" with the players, plus tickets to two games. The glove I brought is covered in Astros players autographs. I used it during the competition finals but retired it after. It's in the attic.....

I had the glove with the Ozzie Smith script that was actually signed by Ozzie at a Cardinals game. My grandmother was a huge Cards fan and took me to several games. Even though it was signed I still used it.
Several years later my yellow lab chewed it to oblivion. My grandmother went out and got me the most fancy glove she could find to replace it. It was a Rebook Pump glove. I was the only kid on any of the teams with a glove like that. Even though it was cool.... it was never the same as the Ozzie glove.

My 7 year old recently found it in a box, and has been using it.

Didn't every glove have some sort of signature? That's what u seem to be asking. I had so many gloves growing put I think one was a barry Larkin.

My older brother had Ernie Banks sig on his glove.
Got it in the Astrodome 1970-72 time frame.
I was jealous. I didn't have an original sig on mine.
