28. Haven't used facebook or social media in years. Waste of time.

The problem is the stupid "me, me, me" shite you observe while scrolling.

You seem a little defensive regarding the use of facebook. Nobody is judging you.

No, these threads are just stupid. A bunch of people beating their chest telling the world how FB was just so horrible to them and how their life is so much better without it.

Deactivated Facebook account when I turned 30. It was time to grow up.

I've always wanted to create a fake Facebook account and just troll the Facebook addicts and tell them what people really think about them

Exactly. People that have problems with Facebook needs to look in the mirror or think about the people they associate with

My biggest problem with facebook is the black hole of ads that it's become. It's impossible to find anything on there digging through all the ads.
We use it a lot for event planning and the messenger. We've got a moderately-sized friend group up here that always has something going on and people hanging out at each others' houses so it's nice to know where people are and what they're doing.
I might post on my wall once a month now.

Seriously... it's funny to watch women evolve
They start by posting sexy, slutty pictures of themselves.. selfies always start below the tit line - don't forget the shot with the perfect angle of your arse in the mirror
They meet some guy in a club
Two months later you get the ultrasound picture
Then it's daily pictures of things they want for the baby that ultimately makes them think they are ready for parent hood
Then it's weekly baby bump pictures
Then the stupid arse gender reveal party (which never was a 'thing' until instagram/Facebook)
Then the baby is born
Parents split up
They argue back and forth about petty nonsense via social media with the family of each party backing their son/daughter
Then it's back to slutty pictures biweekly
Followed by the hundreds of going out pictures mixed in with the inevitable 'why can't I find a decent guy' post
It's like clockwork these days

No account.

I deleted mine a few years ago. It is a great tool though. It helps remind me why I moved from my hometown, and never liked the people from there.

I do not have and have never had one. I'm 33.

I had one and then dropped it. I really did miss it for about a week but that passed. Now, I just don't care about it. My family and close friends text me any pictures they want me to see.

When I was on FB there was this one chick who posted that her fiancé called off their wedding two days before their wedding day 15 years ago and she demanded to know why?
Later on the same chick from above posted her b/f dumped her for no good reason and she had a huge "pity me" party on her FB page.
I really don't miss that crap.

My cousin is seriously addicted to Facebook.. it's honestly sad
We can't do anything as a family without her posting 160 pictures on Facebook and it's really starting to alienate her from the family. I know it's cliche here, but everything that happens in her life is a Facebook post. I genuinely think she is a real addict and needs help but anytime someone brings it up to her she gets really hostile about it

I rarely post on social media but I enjoy following people that share their life story on the internet for the world to see. It's pure entertainment.

I'm 38, and don't have one.
I've never wanted one, but I might be single again soon, and I feel like it might become a necessity, should that happen.
