ha, no.. i would just rather have a 3 minute conversation over the phone than exchange 37 text messages over a hour period.
As far as facebook, i could careless what so and so is eating at the moment and read their stupid memes.

Just give me a call. I would like to hear someones voice.

<------- 24, everyone has problems and I just have the mindset of dealing with my issues and rolling with the punches instead of complaining about them on facebook.

<-------- 38 (turn 39 tomorrow) and I do not have a FB account. Years ago when FB first came out and you needed your college email address to sign up I had one. At first I would get on it at times then I quit using it. When it opened up for everyone to sign up, I think I got back on it because I had a bunch of friend request. Then in 2009 I deactivated it.

Just like everyone else, I started having "friends" who would post things to make their life appear to be perfect. People who assume you share the same political views as they do so they post political shite on your wall. I had an aunt who would tag me into photos I wasn't even in that I would have never put up myself.. I figured it might be "rude" to just take them off, but it just annoyed me it was done without my permission (I guess there was a setting to prevent people from tagging you into photos at the time, but obviously I didn't set it(.. Anyway, I use twitter because I can get news there without having to see all the BS that is posted on FB, but I just don't like it.

My mom will call me sometimes and ask "did _____________ happen?" and it will be something inaccurate and she will tell me "Oh _________ saw it on FB". She doesn't have FB, but evidently one of her close friends has an account. She is an old retired woman and that's what she does most of the day.. Look for gossip on FB. So its pretty much a platform for nosey people as well.. And people post things they "heard" and its just a cluster.

She was obviously driven in to a mad lust.

Facebook is one giant mirage

People use it to make their lives seem better than they really are

Women use it (and other social media) for validation to drive their egos, validation given to them by thirsty beta men. Thanks to social media a 3/10 fatty can post a pic of her with her tits hanging out and get an onslaught of likes from ultra thirsty men. Social media leading to women having inflated egos because of this. They all think because their pics get lots of likes they are higher value than they really are

But my main issue with facebook was status updates. I just didnt care about other peoples status updates. And i am sure most others dont care either

I don't care if the guy has fb or not. If that's a deal breaker that's crazy

I agree. However, 79% of all adults online use Facebook and an even larger number of young people use it. She probably thinks the dude is living off the grid and makes girls into lampshades.

I use twitter for my news feed but I do not have the Facebook and I do not want it. I don't care what your son, daughter, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, mom, brother, girlfriend, boyfriend, shim or whoever is doing 24/7.

I have one but the only posts I make is for occasional birthdays. I dont look to see what so and so is doing every hour of the day, or what the new fake news is, or updates on how everyones life is either all peachy or its a thunder storm. I use for the groups Im in.

The groups dot have all the BS. Its all people willing to help each other with something depending on the group. Thats what Facebook should be.

I love that there are 4 pages of posters with posters adding up to the 10s of thousands of posts talking about "Hell no I don't have Facebook" without any self awareness about the thousands of posts they have on TD.
