Isn't a matter of thinking it's beneath me. If I'm going to spend $10-$15 a person, there are other restaurants I like better.

What good restaurants exist that you can get a 10 dollar meal? Speaking of chains. I know there may be a local place for lunch, but thatshe a different category all together. I don't "like" Applebee's, Chili's, etc., but if I'm out with my family and want to grab something to eat that's not fast food or 25 bucks a person, one of those chain places gets the job done.

Aristo's, Sophia's, Thai Lotus, Agave, Irish Coast Pub, Port City Cafe.

This. I haven't eaten at an Applebee's, Fridays, Bennigan's, Chilis type restaurant since I was a teenager and some friends would choose those places.
Too many good local options that aren't anymore expensive.
