Wife does it. I cook and we split dishes. She teaches so she has more time.

There something stopping you from stepping up to parent your own kids?

Whoever wears their last pair of clean underwear first, of course.

About 50/50. I tend to do the larger loads of towels and underwear plus the kids clothes. She usually does the darks and delicates. And every Sunday morning we end up dumping a ton of clean clothes on the bed to fold that have piled up in the clean hampers during the week.

I do mine and wife does hers and thank Christ bc her laundry operation is a clustefrick while mine runs like a military op

I just assume I do my own bc I know how I want things; meanwhile if we bought 50 baskets she’d have 50 baskets full of clothes plus the washer and dryer at all times. If we bought 150 baskets she’d have 150 baskets plus the washer and dryer full of clothes at all times

What about towels & wash rags? I hate having to fold those

The strategy here is when you do fold them do it in a way that’s “technically” folded but not “how she wants” them folded. Always insist the towels are technically folded. Putting the towels up with the ends facing out is another great way to get out of ever folding another towel.

Doesn’t matter if living with a girl, I wash my shite. Never been married, but if I was, I’m still washing my shite.

And let me also drop some knowledge, I make my own sandwich. I don’t trust no chick with that serious lunch.

wife does it, but I have a special laundry bag for "delicates". expensive slacks, dress shirts, dress socks, etc go in there. realized no one has washed that bag since March haha. Usually its me doing one load everyonth that I hang dry and press to preserve the more expensive clothing.

She does the laundry and I usually load the dishwasher. It does suck that it's been 20 years and I've continued to be struggling with training her to fold and put it away. (She just loves the scheduled 6am texts reminding her to fetch my underwear from the dryer.)

Wtf is this? My parents made me do my own laundry once I was a certain age.

Parents, don't frick your kids over so that they've never washed clothes or done the dishes as a 22 year old man.

Same goes for changing a tire, making dinner or any of the bullshite you should have your kids do before they are adults.

Wife does. I’m about to take over my portion of the laundry though. She’s not great at laundry or cooking, unfortunately. However, she is on the upper end of the OT scale and our kids seem to like her, so I keep her around.

I do it every Sunday. First load is running right now. She takes care of damn near every other chore inside the house and does all the cooking so it's the least I can do.

My wife does the kids (2 year old and newborn) and I do everything else. I don’t mind, I just do it between games on the weekend.

I like to do my own laundry.
I don't like how my wife did laundry.
