Anyone have experience with both?

Phoenix gets up to 115 in the summer with lows of 90, but little humidity.

The South can get up to 100 with lows in the 70s, but high humidity.

Baton Rouge.

It is a heavy, wet, sopping, life sucking heat.

Heat out west can turn you into a prune in older years though.

Only time I've been to Phoenix it got up to 114 and was stuffy as hell but my balls weren't glued to my thigh after walking around for 15 minutes.

Baton Rouge.

Was in Phoenix one time when they were having 100 degree days. It's not cool by any means but you can walk down the street or wherever and not be sweaty.

The humidity makes the air too heavy. Dry heat is pleasanter

Arizona heat can get annoying if you let it. It's kinda...idk, suffocating at times. shite never lets up. But once you get used to it, it's not too bad.

Deep South heat is maddening. Take a shower, walk to my car, and I'm already sweating

I live in phx. The humid heat in the south is worse in my opinion.

Phoenix.

I lived in Scottsdale and have lived in South Louisiana. Phoenix will melt dog shite on the pavement.

I think the real question now is which state or area has THE worst heat/humidity combo. It seems pretty bad all over. I've been around 107F days with some humidness in there.

I have spent a good deal of time in both.

New orleans is the worst.

But out of the two baton rouge. Hottest it got in pheonix for me was 120. That was flat out hot but the swampy humidity is suffocating

Teach it to poop in the shade. It's about 20 degrees cooler.

Baton Rouge by far. Last time I was in Vegas, i was shocked to hear it was 110 outside. It felt like nothing without humidity

It's the same with the cold out West. Standing on the pass from Carson City to Tahoe and it was 10 degrees and actually felt comfortable with a down jacket on.
