MLA standards change every year as do all of the "standards". So, space your sentences the way you prefer.

Except for pretentious and anal pricks, no one will notice or care if you use one or two spaces between sentences.

I'm in my 20s and was always taught two spaces. It isn't just an old person thing.

I have always used two...and frankly, I am not plannin to devote the effort necessary to break that habit any time soon.

Neither. It's one space to end a sentence. Zero spaces to begin one.

Two spaces during the Age of the Typewriter.

One space in the Digital Age.

One space is the modern way. Look at the books and magazines you read. One space.

The only place you see two spaces is when an individual writes and sticks to the old two-space tradition that became as antiquated as an inkwell when typewriters went away.

I grew up using two, but have heard more often than not that one is the official way. Most places on the Internet make everything one space anyway, so whatever.

All computers and smartphones automatically put a period if you do two spaces. Try it right now. But it only leaves one space. So both answers are correct.

I'm in my mid 30's and 1 space looks right, but feels wrong because of how I was raised.
