Have any of you been a white man in Laredo yet?

Get back to me after a week there.

Miami.

I was trying to watch the world cup on south beach and everywhere was playing it in Spanish. By the 3rd bar I gave up and just watched it in Spanish

Uh ok, the french quarter with the mix of European architecture is definitely uniquely american.

I'd rather watch the game in Spanish anyway. It's more exciting

Go to the Walmart in Kenner around 8pm one night. You'll think you might need your passport.

Albuquerque could be up there. On one hand, the city is more American than any other with all the Native American-influenced architecture, but on the other hand, you don't really see that outside of that region of New Mexico.

Probably somewhere in Hawaii. I mean that place wasn't even USA until 55 years ago, and it's an island in the Pacific Ocean.

I live in NO, but I was stationed at Pearl in the Navy. Honolulu is the right answer, and it isn't even close....

A neighborhood with European influenced buildings does NOT give an entire city a European feel. The rest of New Orleans is basically Memphis.

If you want to see a French founded city that still has an actual European feel, visit Montreal sometime.

Detroit is a lot like Gaza right now. But, eventually, Gaza will be cleaned up and things will stop exploding.

The hedonism and lack of strict drinking laws in NOLA make it feel very different from other American places, though. Either way it feels a lot more American than south Texas.

Vail is designed to look like a Swiss Alps village.
