I know, I know, I know.... You guys are going to rip me for even asking. But please, let my funny gif soften your insults!

I'm looking for the best original recipe king cake in Shreveport (not that cream cheese bull shite).

Where to go? Julianne's ? Tubb's?

Happy Friday y'all!

Even though they're overpriced, I'd say Julianne's. Does Bergeron's make a king cake?

The best IMO.

If you are having a large party I'd go with there's as Julianne's is a little pricier. Tubb's is good, but not as good as Julianne's.

Lilah's.....not even close.
Cush's carries Sucre Cakes of New Orleans, more traditional. I heard Southern Maid makes a good Donut King Cake like Meche's in Laffy, but you have to order a day in advance.

Check the Dough Basket. Opened up within the last year. They're pretty good.

In my 28 years here, I did not know this was a thing. I will be ordering promptly.

Bergeron's. In either the Bossier or Shreveport store, it doesn't matter as they are Gambino's King Cakes.

Forget flippin' Lilah's crapcakes. Julie Annes hands down.
