Honestly that's a good question, I grew up catholic and cannot answer this. What books are included in the catholic Bible that are different than other Bibles?
Also never a fan of how the catholic church added "things" to their teachings like praying to "saints" and confessing your sins to another man. Sorry but ill go straight to God as the Bible states "no one goes to the father but through Jesus" no where does it say go to a priest first.

Catholic and Protestant Bibles both include 27 books in the New Testament. Protestant Bibles have only 39 books in the Old Testament, however, while Catholic Bibles have 46. The seven books included in Catholic Bibles are Tobit, Judith, 1 and 2 Maccabees, Wisdom, Sirach, and Baruch. Catholic Bibles also include sections in the Books of Esther and Daniel which are not found in Protestant Bibles. These books are called the deuterocanonical books. The Catholic Church believes these books to be inspired by the Holy Spirit.

NAB is the translation that is used for readings at mass. NRSV-CE is also solid and supposed to be more accurate from a translation standpoint. I have the NAB fwiw

If it's a Catholic Bible, I'm sure it'll never be read. Half the pages could be blank and nobody would notice for 30 years.

A few books in the Old Testament that all pre-reformation churches consider to be scripture, plus parts of Daniel and Esther that Protestants removed.

Sadly that is pretty true. Mass is very ritualistic. Very little sermon explanation.

This is false. The original Bible includes the epistle of James and it’s a pretty big deal because it implicitly clarify’s “faith without works is dead”. Kinda kills the whole “faith alone” tenet. You can’t just say you believe, you have to live like it too.

That simply means you are forgiven through faith in Jesus Christ as your savior, not through a priest.
Also the explanation of my verse that says no one goes to the father but through me, hence your faith in Christ is your salvation from sin. Again, no man has this authority. This is stated plainly in the bible.
