My Fossil just quit on me

Threw in brand name to bring thread page count past 5 due to bitching about Fossil and unrequested watch recommendations

There is a fossil store in the Mall of Louisiana. This might not be everyone's first move, but I would try there first.

For starters, you TAKE your watch in for repair.

Bringing a fossil to get fixed?

They have a place off Florida not too far from the cox building. Can't remember the name but it's pretty generic. Like "watch repair depot" or some shite. I know that's not it, just saying.

Bring it to any run of the mill mall jewelry store and have them change the battery.

If it's not the battery, it's probably not worth fixing.

Place on government st. across from Post Office.

I've been there several time.
Cheap and fixes it on the spot in minutes.
Those people are crazy good.

There's a jeweler in the building across from Goodwood Hardware and to the left of Baskin Robbins. You have to get buzzed in. He's one of the few guys locally that will work on just about anything - Fossil will only touch fossil, a lot of places will only work on stuff they sell, etc. - but he does it all. Good work, reasonable price.

IIRC from 2004, they have a warranty and can be sent in. Look for that sweet arse tin, with tiny book w/100 pgs. Should be in there somewhere where to send it.

I had a Kenneth Cole watch I needed a battery for and I went to a few of those "run of the mill places" and none of them told me they couldn't replace the battery in it.

I got this watch and it works better than the KC or fossil watch I have.

The watch place on Florida between the cox building and airline. Think it's near LA office supply.

There's a guy on North Division Street that does pretty good work. He fixed mine while I waited. It took him like 15 minutes when no one else could fix it. Precision Watch and Repair it's in the Northtown Mall.
