Number 2 behind New years.

Only because some people get off of work for one and not the other.

1) NYE because I have NYD off, there are parties, and football.

2) St Pat's

Have to be careful when you participate in NYE of St. Paddy's

That's when the amatuers drink.

It should be tier 3. Tier 2 should be reserved for federal holidays that aren't really celebrated but still give you a Monday off.

Does the non-green top on #4 mean I get to pinch those puppies?

Worst case scenario, if she freaks out tell her you're colorblind & assumed she's up on preserving American traditions

When did New Years become tier 2?

I would have it on tier 1.

Tier 1
Christmas
NYE
July 4th
Thanksgiving
Halloween
Easter
Memorial Day

I wouldn't argue Labor Day.

Tier 2

Mother's Day
Father's Day
St Patrick's
Valentines
Columbus Day
Veterans Day
MLK
Presidents' Day

Can we go ahead and make a list of what constitutes tier 1 and tier 2?

I petition to:
-Move Valentines, Cinco de Mayo, and St Patricks to tier 3
-Move Labor Day and Memorial Day to tier 2 because of the 3 day weekends
-Add Steak and BJ day to tier 1

I'd break down the tiers even further....

1a- thanksgiving, New Years and xmas
1b-Independence Day, Easter
2- Memorial Day, Labor Day, Halloween
3- st pattys, Presidents' Day, mlk, veterans

NYE doesn't belong in the same league as valentine & st. Pattys. That's just silly
