The skills of the top guys in CS are insane. I'd like to think I'm decent at CS, but even guys a couple of ranks above me destroy me and they're not even close to being pros.

No doubt. It's very hard to get started and get established. But once you do, you're alright
But even then, I think I'd keep my fulltime job. Just because you have no job security whatsoever on twitch. One day you can say something that offends someone and you lose your viewers and money.... And you're screwed.

I was never under any illusion of being good at FPS but it was always funny playing with my friends who thought they were good and watching them get smashed.

a. i pretty much never got in trouble b/c if i was bad, i was smart enough to do it away from my parents and hide my tracks

i play source (b/c it still has the original maps and i play it for nostalgia) but the newer versions keep the same basic simplicity
i mean the original draw for CS was it had real guns that were somewhat realistic (as opposed to things like Doom or Quake with fake laser guns)

That's pretty good.
Some of the sprays people used were pretty good.
I always enjoyed going into a clan server and owning and getting banned.
I was banned from a ton of fy_poolday. You could shoot through the walls and I would just get an mp5 and run nonstop shooting at all the hiding spots.
