Meh... it's like the peanuts in coke thread... down south, it's old school.... I've seen full grown big bearded men still call their father "daddy."

I find it weird for adults, but I think this is regional.

Looks like you worry a little too much about what people think. I'll always refer to my daddy as dad and hope my boys do the same.

Always was Daddy or Mama. Both pasted now. Call my MIL Mama from day one married to my wife. My kids still call me Daddy. That is the way it should be. One is 37 and the other 34.

I called him "daddy" when I thanked him during my oration at his funeral service.

I'm 55 and would love to be able to call my old man daddy. He's been gone since I was 9. Still miss him nearly every day. Couldn't care less what other people think. Of course I called him Dad rather than daddy by 9.

Never called my dad daddy. He was always dad or pops.

As I've gotten older that's molded into the playful natured old man, Gramps, and occasionally when we get drunk together, limp-dick.

Mfer still quick as shite to tell me his limp dick is the reason I'm on this Earth though.

Love you Dad, i know you're reading this.

My boss's kids have called him by his first name their whole lives. Guess he told them that he didn't want to be called dad. Not sure if they address their mom as mom or not.

I'll always call my dad dad and mom mom.
