What a dick move. Friend's dad needs his arse whipped and maybe Friend's mom and Friend too.

You don't tell them, they figure it out, I guess.

Never

They figure it out in their own time. There is really no need to have that conversation

Anyway you can edit this thread please? Several buddies of mine young kids lurk this board and they still believe in Santa. I know they aren't the only kids that read this board either.

So if you don't mind please edit this topic. Thanks

If it would cause an issue, they're too young to be lurking this site in the first place.

Yeah, I never believed in Santa, parents didn't try to make us believe either

A bunch of pussies for parents with some stupid children in this thread

You never tell them. They just figure it out. What harm can come from them believing in Santa for awhile? Even after I figured it out, I kept it going for younger cousins and stuff. But I'm not an a-hole. Some people are assholes.

Why does your nephew think all presents come from Santa? We have gifts from the us to our kids under the tree now, but Santa brings a few more on the 24th.

I never told my 12 year old. She never mentioned his not existing, she just goes along. My younger ones still believe.

As far as your nephew, your brother can fix the damage by saying, "that's what trashy people who Santa skips all say to keep their kids feelings from being hurt."

Not really. Mine figured it out at thirteen, but he is kinda shy and not very outgoing. He also has down syndrome.

What? They are reading about "piihb", "pics or GTFO", "your old lady is getting railed by the BBC" and bj's in automobiles and you're concerned about Santa?

You've got to be joking, just like most of your bs posts.

My brother's kid is 7 years old and was at his friend's house playing. He saw gifts under their Christmas tree with his friend's name on it, so he asked if Santa Claus came early. His friend's parents told him that Santa Claus doesn't exist and that the gifts were from them. Am I crazy for thinking that it should be the parents to tell their own children about Santa Claus' existence rather than someone else? Also how old do you tell a child Santa Claus doesn't exist?

Yeah, frick those parents, I would Grinch/Scrooge the frick out of them. Let the kids find out on their own. 9/10 is the age when the magic stops for kids.
Let them at least get that first decade of believing in magic and Santa.

Are you threatening to be mean to them for a short period of time before the true meaning of Christmas touches your heart, and then be super nice to them afterwards?

That's not much of a threat.

I'm sure they're only searching for the letters "NSFW" and everything else is a blur

So what did your brother say to the other parents? I need some closure here.
