This generation celebrates everything to excess. Whether it's prom invites, baby reveals or weddings, it's an over the top joke.

I vividly remember getting this one year. The 80s were awesome. But yeah, this was usually the extent of it.

It began with Facebook. It cultivates a disgusting culture of bragging.

We did too in the mid to late 80's.
Gifts have always been a part of Easter. It's nothing new. Some people just like to bitch about facebook and millenials

Easter bunny brought my kids some candy and dollar store stuff like water guns, silly string and hula hoops. This facebook instagram shite with soccer bitches trying to prove to themselves that they love their kids more than you do is fricking hilarious.

Were they equal in value to Beats or an iPhone? I think he was more referring to really expensive gifts.

There is nothing wrong with people celebrating certain event, regardless of the origins of the symbolism. In my house we put up a tree to celebrate the birth of Jesus. If you want to pit up a tree and say that it symbolises Hulk Hogans first Wrestlemania victory, im not judging.

This. In spades.

I've noticed that the biggest braggarts on social media are women. It seems they all have to be one-upping the others for attention. It's shameful.

This. We got small gifts (books or stuffed animals in our Easter baskets)...but no large items.

Yes I grew up poor....but even the richer kids(the spoiled brats that would brag about anything and everything) in my class got just small gifts and candy.

We do Easter baskets but dial that shite way back from Christmas. Daughter got a little outfit (skirt/shirt) boy got a new swimsuit. That plus candy and we are done-zo for Easter.

Wife HATES the whole Easter bunny thing and refuses to give in on it. If it didn't compromise Santa she'd out the Easter bunny in a heartbeat.
